Tutorial Section in the Forum

Hi DP Mag,

Would it be possible for you to add a tutorial section to the forum, I have spent the past year leaning new stuff and would like to share how i got the results using diagrams of camera / lighting setups.

Hi Wayne -

That's a good idea. A nice tutorial section in the forums would be good.

Everybody can show off simple lighting techniques and tricks that others can share.

And Perhaps, maybe some simple Photoshop tricks to help improve the basic image.

Yes, I know, it may be blasphemy to mention Photoshop, but sometimes it's a life saver to produce some great shots.

Anyway, good idea. Maybe with enough support, DP will open up a section for tutorials.

Possibly a general 'photography techniques' forum would be a good idea. Tutorials could be contained in that and people would be able to ask technique questions or share information.

Expanding on your idea of a general 'photography techniques' forum.

How about 2 sections...

One section would strictly be a tutorial section.
A general set up, instructions, and the end results.


And then another forum to ask others, "How would I do this?"

If someone wants help on how to set up a shot, or what would be needed.

I don't have all the forums on this site memorized yet, but if it doesn't exist... that could be useful.

Just my ideas.
