I've got Lightroom 4. Not used it much yet, but i'm impressed so far. I wasn't a Lightroom 3 user really, but have read that it has more functionality and gives better results from RAW files. Let me know if you have any specific questions about 4 and i'll do my best to answer them.
I need to adjust brightness and contrast because I'm not big fan of huge "digital surgeries". Sometimes I apply adjustments for a group of pictures. That's all.
