so coming up here in about a week is a solar eclipse, on the 20th. turns out one of the best places in the world to view this is back home for me in northern California, to see the ring of fire around the moon that is. i plan on hiking somewhere in lassen national park to take a photograph or two of the event. thinking i might have a lake in the foreground or something.
anyway i was curious on what i will need to photograph this. i have a ND grad filter that will be 2 stops down but do you think i will need more then that? course i have a tripod and all the every day accessories but can anyone think of anything else i might need to help me get a great photo?
