Almond Blossom close up, taken last Saturday.
Full manual control of a Nikon lense on Nex. Sometimes i think that macros works better with this combination.

I have decided to go mono on this one, even though color version was giving the full spring color.

WOW! There have been some amazing entries this weekend and it's been difficult to decide on a winner but James Farley's photo of a field of daffodiles is fantastic!
I love the composition and the colours in this shot look incredible.

Wow! That was literally my last shot I took yesterday after a day's shooting, and only stumbled across these forums by accident from a link on Twitter so to win it is fantastic, thanks!

I will definitely now get involved in forums, seems like a great resource.

Spring appears to have come a little late around here. We usually have fields of daffodils which look very similar to James' photo.
