HDR software

I have just taken an image which would look great in HDR but I don't have the HDR software so I was wandering where can you find this, I looking for something quite cheap as I tend not to take many HDR images. Is there any way to edit photos without the HDR software, I have the new photoshop elements? Thanks

Most HDR software packages have free trials which you could use to see what your image would look like in HDR and test the program. They will however cover parts of your image with watermarks. Photomatix is a great program for HDR processing it does however cost $99 to buy the full version, but there are numerous codes floating around the internet to get 15% off (Try - ARTIENG15).

For what it's worth, I have Photomatix Pro and wouldn't do with out it. Well worth the money.

When you say you've taken "an image" - is than as in a single exposure? Coz if so, it's not technically going to be a true HDR. Not that I'm knocking it, most of my "HDR style" images have been pseudo HDRs done from a single shot.

I've tried just about every HDR program there is, and I'd say Photomatix is definitely the one to go for. Though I did try another one (can't remember the name now) and it had lots of weird effects, not realistic but certainly interesting!

I am using HDR Darkroom, which makes my photo realistic and surreal.
