Finally got to Lyme Park, Disley in Cheshire, only about 30 mins drive from me, a long walk up the hill to this isolated once-hunting lodge for the nearby Lyme Hall aristocracy, a grade 2 listed tower built c 1737. Quite a lonely place when the sun goes down ( yet to be endured! ).

Excellent mono treatment Chris. You have done this lovely (wind-blown) place justice. The views over to Manchester are splendid on a clear day, but Lyme can feel quite austere on a grey day! Nice one.

Hey Chris, so good to see you posting again and you know i love this, at first i thought too much space around the lodge but then again, the space around it creates such a lonely and somewhat uneasey feeling. I would love to explore this after sunset or on a foggy day maybe
